Chad Maniace
Chad Maniace is the Founder & Convener of The Abundance Coalition, a proposed institution focused on coordinating frontier intelligence toward measurable reductions in scarcity while preserving competition, human agency, and responsible stewardship.
His professional background spans strategic operations, intelligence, organizational readiness, technology integration, systems and program management, global resource allocation, and cross-functional execution in complex, high-consequence environments.
In his current U.S. Air Force role, Chad is responsible for workforce planning, readiness, and capability integration across 84 organizations and approximately 2,300 personnel supporting geographically distributed operational requirements. His career has also included intelligence operations, technology and systems programs, joint-service planning, operational leadership, and multiple international assignments.
Those experiences shaped a central conviction behind TAC: difficult problems are often constrained less by the absence of intelligence than by fragmented incentives, organizational boundaries, coordination failures, and the inability to connect the right capabilities to the right problem.
Chad's interest in TAC is driven by curiosity, learning, problem-solving, and the belief that increasingly capable AI creates an opportunity to deliberately attack scarcity at a scale previously unavailable to humanity.
